Aurora the lonely Mermaind

So much has happened to her, her family killed by a shipwreck, totally shamed by her people, and left to her own fate. She lost her arm from an anchor smashing onto her, she had to basically smash her arm off with a sharp rock. Shes been bitten many times by sharks but the ones that are most revealing are her big bite marks from when she was attacked by a great white shark... twice, at times she'd be shaken like a chew toy. But she never gave up on her dream to see what land and air would be like, and she hope to find someone who would love her and want her. But yet, she strives to find anyone until she came across a drowning man and saved his life while bringing him to shore, she pound on his chest again and again until he coughed air and drew breath. From that point on... she felt something towards him and she wanted to be there for him till the very end, even if he despises her.

But he didn't despise her.
